Title: The Last Flash
Characters: S5 ensemble, Left Behinders. Namely Jack, Juliet, Daniel, Sawyer.
Rating: PG
Word Count: 345
Spoilers: Through the S5 finale, "The Incident"
Disclaimer: I don't own LOST.
Summary: Destiny doesn't come cheap.
Notes: For today's Luau Queen
emiligia, who requested S6 speculation. I hope you like it!
( They're coming. )

So, Knowing was pretty good. It wasn't original by any means, but... It was good. I maintain that M. Night Shyamalan made this film using an alias. Either that, or the person who made it is a huge fan of his. And of LOST.
( Please excuse the capslock and bad grammar. Again, beware of crack. )
And now if you will excuse me I've got some speculation fic to write!
also, rebekah, i think you need to make me a moving icon of elmo and robert deniro/elmo laughing together (2:03):

Disclaimer: I don't own LOST. Title belongs to Nirvana.
Notes: For yesterday's Luau Queen
janie_tangerine who wanted Boone, particularly this pairing. And, god, I really hope I didn't ruin them or anything. I've never tried to write either of them, let alone this pairing, so... Hopefully you like it and will forgive me if they're too out of character or anything like that.
( You don't seem like the kind of guy who listens to Nirvana. )
Okay, now I'm off to write a Charlie and Hurley fic for today's Queen that will be decidedly happier than this. ^___^
Sanctuary con peeps, did y'all realize you have to e-mail Gabit back accepting the allocation? Phew, I JUST saw that at the bottom of the email. Holy Hannah!! Well that's what I get for getting all excited and forgetting to go back and re-read (in more detail) the email in a...ah...calmer state? Lol. Anyhoo just wanted to make sure everyone else caught that...there's a seven day window. *smacks forehead*
You guys, I really need to stop taking naps. Just because it's 5:30pm and I have nothing to do and it's unseasonably cold in my room and I'm sitting on top of my bed and there's a fleece blanket, is no excuse. It's really effing up my sleep schedule, so it took me two hours to fall asleep at normal-person time last night. Plus, weird nappy dreams, ahoy!
[Keep in mind these are only excerpts from a vast array of unreasonably long, trippy dreams I've had during naps for the past week or so.]
Dream 1: Dumbledore and some not-Voldemort-but-still-pretty-freaking-e
Dream 2: I was in the Transformers sequel. I was the only person there who knew it was the Transformers sequel. I just kept waiting for ginormous robots to come swooping in and smash something. But I woke up before any cars changed into robots or any deceptacons destroyed the world...Come to think of it, I may have just been a girl in a normal situation, but psychotically convinced that I was living in the Transformers movie and car-robots were going to destroy everything. My only real indication was that Shia LaBeouf was there (god I hate Shia LaBeouf). I don't even know if anything else in my world was true to the sequel, because I haven't even seen either of the Transformers movies. Does he live in a duplex house with a single mom and pervy twin brothers? Probs not, but that's what my mind thought. Anyways, there was this one moment where a big Hollywood/business-type dude drove up real fast in a sports car and once he got out I and started talking to Shia, esp once Shia started getting angry, I was certain the car was gonna transform and eat Shia or something, so I hid in the garage, just staring it down and getting ready to gun it down at the slightest move...Yeah, I was definitely a paranoid schizophrenic or something. No wonder they sent me off to live with my single aunt and cousins. I must've just come from a mental institution or something.
So what lessons have I learned from all this?
1) STOP TAKING NAPS.
2) Go to the movies instead?
была штука и нет штуки!... зато отлично потанцевали)))
Ahahahahaha,
beatonna is AWESOME and this, people, is an example of why:
beatonna - Anne why are you writing books about how alcoholic losers ruin people's lives? Don't you see that romanticizing douchey behavior is the proper literary convention in this family! Honestly.
I laugh & laugh, and say WORD. Because Heathcliff is an arsehole, and Mr Rochester...well...Anonymous Commenter has this to say about him: To be fair, Jane Eyre does kind of insist that Rochester stops acting like a douche before uniting with him in married bliss. In order to achieve this, though, he does have to go blind. Got to love Victorian morality tales. So, yeah.
Augh, I am so screwed for this weekend. I'm leaving for the death spa immediately after work, so at midnight I will venturing out on a drive that will take at least five hours. I have to be awake to go to work by 7pm, and yet I haven't slept at all yet, or packed, or in any way prepared for the weekend. Why? Because I watched all eight episodes of Uta no Onii-san in a row. This is apparently a binging week, after a long drama dry period where I couldn't focus on anything. First the last six episodes of Maou all in a row, and now all eight of Uta no Onii-san. I didn't see that coming!
Man, Ohno's got range, huh? Holy crap. I have so many thoughts about Uta no Onii-san (ALL LOVE, MAKE NO MISTAKE, I ADORED IT. As evidenced by the numbness of my ass after sitting through the entire thing in one go) but they will come post-death spa. I suppose I also have thoughts on Maou but they are mostly flailing gestures and comical facial expressions, with a few exclamation points added in. (ALSO ALL LOVE, THOUGH. Seriously, these two dramas? They could not be more different but I'm so in love with both of them.) But I have things to talk about with UnO, and also... I'm going to watch it again. Next time I'm going to cap the shit out of it. If you have any lusty feelings for Ohno and have seen the drama, well, this shouldn't come as a surprise.
(Next up to start is Ryuusei no Kizuna, and I'm still watching Iljimae, My Boss My Hero, My Sweet City, and Triple, with BOSS, Partner, and City Hall possibly being committed to more fully eventually.)
In conclusion: MAOU <3<3<3!! UTA NO ONII-SAN <3<3<3!! These are my awesomely insightful drama critiques for the week.
Pack, sleep, work, drive, sleep, death spa. Plan.
When I was a kid I remember mistaking the lyrics to the country song You Picked a Fine Time To Leave Me Lucille god, is that really the title? Probably not. It's probably just Lucille. Anyway that's the chorus, but where it says four hungry children and a crop in the field, I always thought it said four hundred children and a crop in the field and felt like I couldn't really blame Lucille for leaving under those circumstances.

1. What is your favorite vegetable? Ooh tough one. I'm going to have to go with carrots, because I like them both raw and cooked. Broccoli was going to be my first choice but I don't like it much raw.
2. What is your favorite salad dressing, sauce, gravy, or condiment? I like a simple balsamic vinaigrette, as long as it's not too salty. Green Goddess dressing is good too.
3. What is your favorite culture's food (American, Chinese, Creole, Indian, Italian, Mexican, Soul Food, Southern U.S., etc.)? It's going to have to be a tie between Indian and Thai. One I associate more with winter (Indian) and Thai feels more summery to me. Oh that makes me crave my favorite dish from Ginger. I am lucky enough to live within a stones throw of Carytown, possibly the highest number of Thai restaurants per capita anywhere, I'd hazard to guess.
4. What is your favorite beverage? Water or Diet Dr Pepper. The word "beverage" was one of my first as we flew all the time when I was a kid and so I'd always see the word on the menu in the seat pocket in front of me. What I picture in my head when hearing "beverage" is Sprite or 7-Up.
5. What is your favorite food? This would change based on my mood so there's not one consistent go to item other than Oatmeal - Maple Brown Sugar, every morning. Yum. But I don't really eat it at any other time unless I am out of everything else.
Wow, I bet that rocked your world with it's interesting-ness.

current mood: excited
Remember that time that
gracekellymovie and I are going to have another amazingly epic time tomorrow? Yeahhhh. I'm pretty excited about it. And then we get to have another one exactly one week later. Except that one will be much more bittersweet. Le sigh.
In other news, I went to pick up Judy's mother's earrings today, and Lady Judith was not there. Fail. So much for the "I'll be here all day, stop by whenever". Hopefully she'll get my voicemail and call me back so that I can pick them up tonight or tomorrow morning before I leave.
That's pretty much all for today. Anyone who is cool enough to be friends with Liz already knows of the greatness that was our (2nd!) beyond amazing Wednesday.
Actors' Fund Benefit Performance tomorrow night. And now I am going with the best of the best ever/F.A.V.O.R.I.T.E. -- and Best/Worst strike again! How excited am I? SO. EXCITED. Seeing the show on the 4th was just not the same at all without her, and I am so so so beyond glad (and rather ecstatic, in fact!) that I don't have to do it again tomorrow!!!! Watch out, Melissa-- here we come (again)!!!!!
